Wedding Inspiration – A Botanical vibe

30th ∙ November ∙ 2015

This year has been a super great year of meeting awesome couples from all over the world, meeting some pretty talented creative and bloggers and being involved in some amazing top secret projects!
This is just one of the many I’ve been so lucky to be a part of. This shoot was all about wild leaves and flowers with a colour palette that I just cant stop swooning over! Golds, deep tones of purple and white. It’s perfect for any indoor or outdoor wedding and most beautiful when used within the autumn or winter season. The thought of autumnal leaves falling of reds, greens and browns just leaves me with a warm thought.

I absolutely loved creating pieces for this shoot, from gold calligraphy on deep green leaves and tones of purple calligraphy on textured fine art cotton paper for the custom stationery. I also wanted to add an element of surprise for the couples guests and have the stationery in a box, to then be opened to reveal a deep tones purple cover and a gold wax stamp to set the tone of their big day.

The shoot was featured on BLoved Blog as well as London Wedding Magazine.

Heres a little snippets of words from Racheal of Serendipity Weddings who styled the shoot

“Pinar from CuriousMe produced a hand-drawn invitation suite using rich purple ink calligraphy on textured cream paper. The suite was wrapped in stunning waxed paper and finished with a gold seal before being presented in a luxurious hand-addressed box. In addition she also created beautiful place cards using gold ink and fresh leaves along with an escort card display using ribbon and rustic wood branches.”

Oh I am so so excited for this custom invitation I had the pleasure of creating for my lovely CuriousMe couple in California! They wanted something special and handmade and came to me in the late summer! With inspiration from their mountainous venue I came up with this custom creation! And boy, oh boy they really loved it! Some of their family and friends loved it so much they kept the RSVP and let them know their answers in other ways!

Here’s some of what they had to say!
“Got the invites. They are amazing……. LOVE LOVE LOVE “

Monochrome Wedding Stationery

15th ∙ December ∙ 2013

A Monochrome wedding stationery set designed for a special occasion.
This set was inspired by Etsy’s Monochrome and Nordic Christmas shoot that was styled by Knot & Pop. I was asked to create a menu for the shoot and add my typography to name tags and a Father Christmas ‘Ho Ho Ho’ to a chalk board! So I decided to create a whole set that would accompany my menus.

Deer and stags to me are a very beautiful symbol of Christmas. A fierce but romantically mysterious animal. I used them as a symbol of love in the menu and added small twinkles of firework looking plants and this is what I came up with.
