After getting married this summer July 2012, we really have had such an amazing journey since.

Looking back now, it was a rush! We had 9 months before our special day. Along the way it was tough, working with a tight budget and then we thought the best way to keep our special day special to our amazing friends and family, is by keeping it personal and keeping it true to us. We’re designers and makers and so we decided to make everything we could make and design and create everything there was to style! From flower arrangements, table layouts, hanging decorations and all our paper goods! Which meant our wedding menus on the tables, drink dispenser names and labels, table numbers, name place settings, wedding day seating plan and of course our wedding invitations, wedding RSVP’s and thank you cards!

The response was so loving and so emotional I have decided to start designing a whole range of different paper stationary. Wedding invitations and all of a wedding’s stationary is so important to set the theme. For boho and rustic weddings especially, beautiful hand drawn wedding invitations and stationary are a way of telling guests that the modern wedding is more informal than traditional weddings.

For the first set of wedding stationary, I am starting off with a save the date, wedding invitation and RSVP postcard, map for guest and a thank you card. These are all based on a wedding wonderland theme with enchanted forests, beautiful birds and a lovely energy.

Bear & Deer in the Woods – Richmond Park

30th ∙ September ∙ 2012

We are just going through the photos from yesterday’s shoot and to our surprise we had a visitor in one of the shots!
So I just had to share this with you.

We went to Richmond Park and it is amazing there, you almost lose the feeling of the hustle and bustle of London and become alone in the forest.  So we found some trees whilst photographing Bear In The Woods, we had squirrels running around us, up and across trees and throwing nuts and the spiky nut shells at us! It was really funny! Then an amazing deer came up behind us nibbling on the nuts and shells.

See how amazing the deer moves behind us, it was just amazing. Later on we heard a herd of stag (male deers) calling, they were truly amazing!

I have been thinking about the packaging since the first launch of my illustrations, and finally I have managed to get all packaging sorted and even produce some stickers which have gotten a great response!
