Hello me lovelies!
Hope you’re having a fun filled Friday and had a good ol feast at your Christmas party!

I’ve been in the studio creating stationery for some absolutely lovely couples and can’t wait to reveal them!
But I am even more excited for these next few weeks as I’m not only creating special on-the-day wedding pieces for a friend, but I’ve been invited to the wonderful amazing wedding day too!

After saying a quick ‘Heck Yes I’ll be there!’ I’m now left with what am I going to wear! The wedding is set in the most wonderful castle and happening at the beginning of December! A wonderful winter wedding! But, I’ve not been to a winter wedding in a while and now on the search for what to wear.

I’ve searched through all my favourite stores and found some pretty awesome ones too! But this is beginning to be a challenge!

I mean, what is appropriate to wear at a winter wedding? Does it have to be a dress? Or could you rock up in an elegant jump suit?
I’d love to wear something from Valentino’s or Ellib Saab’s Haute Couture winter collection! They’re totally out of my price range but, how amazing would that be!? Any excuse to get dressed up! .

I’m thinking of a skirt and blouse combination or a dress with some black heels I got from Dorothy Perkins in the sale a few months ago (amazing bargain £16).
So here is my run down of outfits I’ve found!

Little Mistress Prom Dres
from ASOS £27

Lilo Dress
from COAST £89

Black Lace Peplum Cami Top from TOPSHOP £25
Sequin Trousers from FRENCH CONNECTION £70
Black Suede Shoes from DOROTHY PERKINS £25

Chloe Dress from BHLDN £160
(located in the USA but has a great shipping service)

The one I went for in the end was number 1. I wanted something that I wouldn’t stand out too much in, but also just feel great and dance around in! You’ll find me on the dance floor!

Are you a guest at a winter wedding?
And what are you planning to wear?

Unique Wedding Place Name Cards

23rd ∙ October ∙ 2013

I absolutely love surprising my family and friends, and so when I was asked to create place name cards for a winter special occasion this is what I came up with!

Stems of green leaves with a custom made banner place name, hand written in gold.  The banner is straight lined with flagged ends for a bit of fun, and black outline. It’s nature inspired from the woodland but fit for any mountain, vintage, field or an outdoors occasion.

and this lavender beauty surrounds a slightly different custom made banner place name, flying in the wind. It’s hand written in black and outlined in black. This is great for any type of wedding and brings the outdoors inside!
Lavender also smells amazing!

What better way to greet your family and friends but with these beautiful pieces! They can then be taken home as favours and memories of that special day.

Summer has finally reached the UK and boy are we hot in the city of London! Summer and Autumn weddings have to be my favourite! I’ve been working on a lot of custom pieces for the last few months and it is great! But also I wanted to create an other piece for my ready – made collection. I created these pieces with my hand illustrated typography and painted watercolour flowers for summer. What a perfect way to invite and greet your guests – with a bit of hand made love.

We are truly excited to introduce DIY Sessions!

DIY Sessions is about adding those little personal touches to your wedding day at a low expense. I got married on the only sunny day of the summer in 2012 and went full on DIY! I documented our wedding in small snippets, thinking one day I will share this! So this is for all you lovely brides and grooms to-be and anyone who likes a bit of DIY-ing; the start of many DIY tutorials on how to add the little touches to your wedding day and special occasions without the expense!

DIY Session #1

The snow came down a weekend in January 2013 and we were so excited when it did come to visit us! and just in time for a family birthday and some weekend fun and family time!

We Walked across Clapham Common park and took the tube to Waterloo and walked all the way to Farringdon! The following day we adventured to Vauxhall and spent the rest of the day throwing snow balls and having a hot chocolate!

One of the best weekends of fun and family time!
